About Us
Our Mission
To provide an opportunity to achieve musical excellence in the study of violin, viola and cello. To provide highly skilled and personalized private instruction in a welcoming, structured and supportive environment. To serve our community through classical music study and performance.
The faculty at the String Academy of Idaho Falls have varied musical and educational backgrounds yet a shared philosophy of teaching. Students will be taught a natural and comfortable set-up, which leads to playing with greater confidence, technical efficiency and musical sensitivity. We are influenced by the pedagogy and principles of Shinichi Suzuki, Ivan Galamian, Paul Rolland and Mimi Zweig.
Financial Assistance will be awarded based on need; we seek to provide equal opportunity for all students who will benefit and thrive in our program.
Our Students:
Make their best effort to strive and achieve in partnership with their teachers.
Our Parents and Guardians:
Support, encourage and facilitate their student’s musical endeavors.
